The Charles Pope Memorial Trust is a grant awarding, charitable body, operating in the Aylesbury Vale area for the benefit of music students of all ages.
Grants are available to assist with the cost of musical education, including tuition fees, instruments, musical scores and books.
The Trust welcomes all contributions, large or small. If you would like to help support musicians and musical education in Aylesbury Vale, please complete a Donation and Gift Aid form and return it to us with your contribution.
The Trust also runs the prestigious Margaret Fripp Prize, which is awarded annually to a promising singer aged 18 or under. The 2024 prize will be awarded from an audition to take place at Aylesbury Methodist Church on 21st March 2024 (applications to be received by 14th March 2024). Further information can be found here.

Applicants may be of any age but must have lived or been educated in the area formerly administered by Aylesbury Vale District Council for 2 years or more. A full list of qualifying parishes can be found here. A reference from a relevant music teacher is required.
Application forms can be downloaded here and should be submitted by 15th February, 31st May or 1st October for consideration at that term’s meeting.
